Jeff Lawrence is a seasoned recruiter based
in Shropshire. He started his career as a recruitment consultant which allowed
him to build a network of candidates and clients along the way. Eventually, using
his experience and expertise in the recruitment field, he forayed into
establishing his own recruitment business which has since enjoyed immense
success.
TRS Personnel, his brainchild, was formed
in 2005. It started trading a year later with him managing operations using
just a single phone and a desk. From the company’s humble beginnings, he
managed to slowly build things from scratch, enjoying the steady milestones and
achievements that came along the way.
Soon after, the Transport Division opened
and later on, obtained a licence by the ICO. Among the other achievements that the company
experienced during its early days include the opening of its Industrial Division
followed by the launch of its new website. It was also around this time that
TRS Personnel was awarded membership of the recruitment Employment Confederation
or REC. After the Diversity Pledge got signed, the business received the
Positive Award for its Disabled Persons Accreditation. The company soon moved
to larger premises where it opened its Permanent Placement Division. By the end
of the 2006 financial year, it has exceeded a million pound in turnover.
The branch at Wolverhampton was opened in
2007. Around this time, the company earned another nod for the many positive
changes it has been effecting in the field of recruitment with the Investors in
People Accreditation. Soon after, its Skills and Technical Division commenced
as it reached a new milestone of supplying a total of 200 companies.
By 2008, the Stafford branch officially
opened and the company successfully achieved a multi-million pound turnover. Its
Catering Division also opened along with the Care Sector. It was in the same
year that it made its 1,000th candidate placement and it supplied a
total of 300 companies. It also got awarded with the ISO 90001 accreditation.
The next few years saw the company
intensifying its expansion while at the same time, introducing comprehensive
updates to its website. Aside from the numerous milestones it has achieved in the
recruitment business, the company has also enjoyed nods from award-giving
bodies in the industry to recognise the numerous efforts it has introduced into
providing a better, more streamlined recruitment process that aims to help both
employers and candidates alike.
